Hello everyone-

I want to let any interested parties know that I've just put an
intermediate draft of my Yijing work into an Emailable zipfile. I'm
willing to share this with anyone serious enough to download and look at
it, in return (please) for a comment or two. It's a 1.5 mb file, with
parts in Word, PDF and HTML. It's at least as "heavy" a work as Kunst's
two volume doctoral thesis, and about 900 pages. This is the first two
of a planned three volumes, and includes two kinds of translation and a
traditional Chinese text (Big5) based on the Harvard Yencheng Zhouyi
Yinde. It's still missing a 300 page commentary. After lots more
Changes this will be posted in pieces on a new web page over the next year.
While it can be called scholarly, I do not follow Gao Heng or the
current academic Modernist, Context Critic or Etymology fads. No
grunting hamsters and dancing elephants, and no twitching captives. I'm
working on a different hypothesis: that the book actually makes sense if
you translate it more carefully.
Please write to me privately if you want to receive either a Table of
Contents or the whole package.

All the best,

Bradford Hatcher
