In the Rosenbergslot, it's important not to forget to look up and down as you tour the rooms, since the ceilings and floors, as well as the walls, are highly decorated. This chandelier is made entirely of amber, which comes from trees that grew millions of years ago in a band from Denmark up into the Baltic countries. There are a lot of giftstoress in Copenhagen specializing in amber, but I didn't see anything as elaborate as this in the shops.
