I've been informed about a commercial service with a similar mission, FreeRub.com/FindAMassagePartner.com. I don't know anything about them beyond what's on the public pages, so I can't endorse or recommend them. Caveat emptor, baby.

The Backrubs Exchange List is gone. GONE, do you hear me? Dead and buried, kaput, RIP, pushing up the daisies. Do not ask me for listings. Do not try to give me your listing info, based on some old copy of the entry form. I will just ignore you. Sorry to be rude about it, but this still happens periodically, more than two years after I first posted this announcement.
I maintained the alt.backrubs Backrubs Exchange List from September 1994 to June 1998, let it languish for almost 6 months, and finally removed all data on 24 November 1998. It was fun while it lasted, and it taught me a lot about html, perl, cron, zipcodes, and other esoterica. However, it had been a long time since I've read alt.backrubs or even given a massage, and I found that I just didn't care anymore.
If anyone does care enough to revive the list, I can give them the maintenance scripts and a file of dummy data. I will not under any circumstances give out the actual names, addresses, phone numbers, etc, that used to be on this site. Much of this information is probably stale by now, and it was collected before data mining was quite so prevalent.
If you're interested, here is what used to be on this page:
The Backrubs Exchange List is an international list of people who are willing to exchange massage/backrubs. It has members in 38 US states, 5 Canadian provinces, and 9 other countries.Massage is not sex. This is not a dating service. This is strictly intended to facilitate free exchange of relaxational or therapeutic types of massage.
This is not a professional listing service. Professionals are more than welcome here, as long as they are willing to exchange massage without expectation of compensation.
All information is provided verbatim, as it was given to me. I cannot verify or vouch for the accuracy of individual entries, especially with regard to skill level and good intentions. It is up to you to use your best judgement when contacting strangers.
