I just like saying "Bad brie is like a car accident"... Although... There is a case for comparison. When one has got brie, for which one had SUCH high hopes, and it turns out to be shoddy, or not fresh enough, or just poor quality, it's _so_ BLOODY disappointing that one might eat most of it anyway. Just for that hint of Good Brie Flavor trapped inside and loosed only in the after-taste of a mouthful of bad brie. Much in the same way that people passing a car accident will, almost unwillingly sometimes, look at it... in spite of themselves... for that unpleasant and oily yet bittersweet flavor of satisfying your curiousity about a life damaged and the subtly pleasing aftertaste of your own life remaining untouched. -- Kelly J.
