Subject: It's a movie... it's a theme


  You SHOULD clear a block of time not less than 2 hours and go to the
nearest movie rental place that isn't Ballbuster Video and rent the
1948 version of THE THREE MUSKETEERS (the one with Gene Kelly as
D'Artagnan and Vincent Price as Richelieu) and you MUST watch ATHOS
very carefully.  I will tell you why.  He IS Dr. Strychnine (plus
anywhere up to 10 - 15 years, perhaps).  My only question is whether
the good Doctor has already had his own Countess DeWinter experience
or not (yet)... (Plord might make a good D'Artagnan per this
production, but I dare not go any further in my casting call).

  The movie is also otherwise QUITE worthwhile, for it is an excellent
flick, but I will warn you that it is possessed of the mellow pacing
(read: "slow" for you speed freaks) characteristic of big production
pieces in that time period.
