There are a number of projects I'm interested in doing right now, and I'm pursuing some of them in a disorganized manner. Probably the main project on my mind is a toolkit to aid in the development of cooperative databases. There are several high quality cooperative databases out there on the net right now and I'd love to see a free toolkit to help people create new databases.
I also have a good design for a mail user interface that I think would blow away every mail client I've ever used. They all suck! MH, RMAIL, Eudora... I've never found one that I'm happy with. I find their level of functionality too low; they rarely seem designed to do the things I want to do. Getting this done is a matter of me writing specs and hashing out some of the code myself, or getting someone else to. I just don't have enough inclination to do it right now.
